Before: Not exactly a bad photo, but the color is a bit too pink--perhaps the effect of time and air exposure on an otherwise good print. Many color snapshots fade and change color before many years go by. Our photo materials will resist fading for at least 50 years (closer to 100 years for black and white prints)!

 

After: Cropping the photo to bring the subjects closer is often very effective--more intimate, more friendly--along with correcting the color. Now, doesn't this look much better?
