BEFORE This 1900-vintage photo of a Minnesota homesteading family was in good condition, though it had turned a bit dull and had several noticeable scratches.
AFTER Adding color is a time- and labor-intensive process, but it can really add a new dimension to black and white photos, whether old or recent. This 8X10 photo became, as a work of art, an interesting conversation piece. Priced on an hourly basis, the customer can be quite specific about colors, type of paper, and other details. This would print very nicely on a canvas texture.
COST: $95.00 (est.). The price for colorizing black and white photos will vary according to size of the original, amount of detail to be colorized, and other specifics. Perhaps it's a bit of a luxury, but what a keepsake or gift for a special occasion!
