BEFORE This photo of a couple with their six grandchildren was taken shortly before two adoptive grandchildren were added to the number. Unfortunately, part of the family lives far away and could not return for a retake, so we were asked, "Would it be possible to add our new grandchildren to the photo?"
AFTER Working with school pictures of the two "new" grandchildren, we found a way to bring them into the family photo as comfortably as they fit into their new family. Challenges of this kind of project include proper scaling (of size) between unmatched photos, as well as matching the color tones between photos. They (and we) were highly pleased with the results! One added comment...we support the work of professional photo studios and normally would take on a project like this only if circumstances do not permit an actual photo retake.
COST: This was a two-hour project, based on a rate of $35 per hour plus the cost of prints. Each project is unique, however, so an estimate would be given prior to accepting the project.
